Alex first saw Krump at Homegrounds last year at Comma's first art festival. This style was unknown to him before, but he learned on a quick search that it refers to Krump. Essentially, it stands for "Kingdom Radically Uplifted Mighty Praise". But words cannot adequately describe this dance; it was reminiscent of Plato's cave. The expressiveness of the dancers was something he had never seen it before. There is an energy and emotion to each of them. There was an exhilarating feeling watching the dancers. It was like releasing your emotions. It is difficult at the best of times, but the Krumpers were doing it on the dance floor every time. The support was so intense, everyone was cheering and hyping everyone up. See a glimpse of this craziness in this small but captivating photo, taking a closer look at an exciting community.
